Privacy Policy

This document states the privacy policy of the 'Jetsetters Club'
in regards to the data collected and stored about visitors to this web
site.
--- Server Logs ---
All Internet web servers (the computers where web sites are hosted) collect
log files, storing the IP addresses of visitors, the pages visited, files
downloaded and dates/ times of visits. These logs are used by server administrators
when web server problems occur and for generic statistics. The 'Trek Club'
web site only uses these logs for basic user statistics and no personally
identifiable information is collected, used or passed on to third parties.
--- Emails & Enquiry Form ---
The contact information of people who contact the 'Jet Set' via email or the
contact form will be kept, for a short period of time after the last is message
received from that person, on a local hard drive. This period will vary according
to the cycle of periodic 'spring cleaning' of the contacts list. This list
shall only be used to facilitate dialogue between the contact and the club
and shall not be passed on to third parties. You may request to be removed
from the contacts list at any time. Persons wishing to be added to the etxtTM
list shall have there details stored securely in a database to aid the use
of the etxtTM system. This
data shall only be used for this purpose and shall not be passed on to third
parties. You may ask to be removed from the database at any time, via text,
email or telephone.
Any change to the above policy will be announced openly on the web site prior to any change. The club will endeavor to insure, as far as practical, that persons affected by any change to this policy will be informed well in advance of any change.
